Ride The Lightning (1984) was the second studio album recorded by the thrash metal band Metallica. This album contains the title track Ride The Lightning, which features my personal favorite Metallica guitar solo. Many contend that the track Creeping Death, which is about the Angel of Death in the Old Testament, was performed best at the show in Mexico City in which bassist Jason Newsted provided amazing backing vocals during the chanting section in the latter half of the song.
